Grosvenor Casino Manchester Events and Entertainment: Live Shows, Special Events and Nightlife
Events and Entertainment at Grosvenor Casino Manchester Bury New Road
At Grosvenor Casino Manchester Bury New Road, our entertainment programme is shaped primarily by live poker, major tournament festivals, live sport, casino gaming and bookable group experiences. Poker is one of the defining parts of our venue, with daily cash games providing a regular reason to visit and larger scheduled events adding a festival atmosphere throughout the year. Our 2026 calendar includes the Monster Stack Tour from 18 to 23 August, with an £80 + £20 headline entry and a £50,000 guaranteed prize pool, followed by the 888 UKPL Manchester Bury New Road festival from 15 to 20 September and G300 Manchester Bury New Road from 20 to 25 October. The UKPL and G300 headline events each carry a published £100,000 guarantee, while the wider festival schedules can include additional tournaments, satellites and specialist formats.
Live sport forms another regular part of our entertainment rather than operating only as an occasional special event. Major football fixtures, horse racing and other prominent sporting action can be shown in the casino, allowing guests to combine sports viewing with food, drinks, poker or table gaming. Our Fan Zone Experience adds a structured event format for selected fixtures, with reserved seating, a welcome drink, £15 of Grosvenor money, a Lucky Number Roulette bet and a £5 Grosvenor Casino Online bet included in the published £25-per-person package. The exact sporting schedule follows the events being broadcast, so the atmosphere can change from Premier League match nights to major racing meetings and late-night international sport.
For social groups, celebrations and organised nights out, we also provide bookable casino experiences. The £60-per-person All In Experience combines a welcome cocktail, a 200ml bottle of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut NV Champagne, 30 minutes at a private table, £30 of Grosvenor money and a Lucky Number Roulette bet. Our £30-per-person Game On Experience focuses on a more guided introduction to the casino, including a welcome drink, 30 minutes of private dealer tuition and £15 of Grosvenor money. For poker-focused groups, the £25-per-person Poker Hand Experience includes a two-hour private dealer-dealt tournament, a welcome drink, £15 of Grosvenor money, a Lucky Number Roulette bet and entry to a free-to-play daily online poker tournament. These experiences create a more structured entertainment format alongside the regular casino floor and poker-room programme.
Seasonal events extend the programme beyond everyday gaming. Our festive format combines seasonal dining, festive drinks and casino entertainment for parties, team celebrations and nights out with friends. The current festive programme also includes an optional gaming experience with guidance on classic games such as Roulette and Blackjack, while selected groups may be able to add a Slots Tournament with a leaderboard prize when availability permits. New Year's Eve is presented as a separate celebration built around food, sparkling drinks and the casino atmosphere as the countdown approaches. Grosvenor Casino Manchester Bury New Road does not currently list a dedicated nightclub among its facilities, nor do we publish a fixed weekly nightclub, DJ or live-music programme for this venue. Our late-night entertainment is therefore centred on the 24-hour casino floor, poker room, sporting events, food and drink, seasonal celebrations and special experiences rather than a separate nightclub operation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Booking requirements depend on the type of event. Regular casino gaming and standard visits do not generally require an entertainment booking, while private packages such as All In, Game On, Poker Hand and selected Fan Zone experiences are designed to be reserved in advance. Major poker tournaments have their own registration and entry procedures, and popular festival sessions can operate differently from everyday poker-room play.
Yes. A visit can be centred on socialising, food, drinks or watching live sport rather than gambling. Guests attending with friends are not required to participate in casino games simply because they are inside the venue. Casino admission requirements still apply, and anyone choosing to gamble must be aged 18 or over.
Yes. Tournament dates, individual events, structures and availability can be amended, moved or cancelled where necessary. The same principle applies to selected sports experiences and seasonal activities, as these can depend on broadcast schedules, capacity, staffing and operational requirements. Major poker festival dates are published in advance, while detailed daily schedules may be updated closer to each event.
Yes. On-site parking is listed among our venue facilities, which is particularly useful for guests attending longer poker festivals, evening sporting fixtures or late-night casino events. The casino is located at 2 Ramsgate Street, and the main venue remains open 24 hours a day. Parking availability can naturally depend on capacity during particularly busy periods.
